Thank you! I tried to keep a kind of raw /rough look to it, just like the story only shows us a glimpse into the protagonists' lives.

these look like crayon! i love the texture that gives the pics - it's kind of rough and a little different and really cool. i think my favorite is the fourth one, of the diner from behind the counter, because it's just full of details and gives a great sense of the place. the last pic is really sweet, too.

Thank you so much! Yes, it's simple crayons and very soft pencils. For the 4th pic, I tried to give the cook's (Jensens's) point of view of the Diner (and Jared). And for the last one, I just couldn't resist to use that "Starry Kansas Sky" picture that I found on twitter recently as a background..
