Turns out the birth control my doctor prescribed to me interferes with my anticonvulsant.  I took the first pill Wednesday night, so Thursday during the day I had multiple seizures.  I have switched to a different BCP, and all is well in Karenland ( Read more... )

Yesterday I had 3 or 4 seizures.  The first one while teaching 2nd period.  No one could convince me to go home, as I react badly to being told what to do when I'm in the middle of my fogginess.  (I'd like to blame my well-meaning parents for that.  They would order me around like a child when I had seizures & I was trying to be seen as an adult ( Read more... )

Baily has now been in cloth diapers for a full 24 hours! Woohoo!! Wow, this kids goes through so many diapers - At least they are no longer on their way to a landfill to sit and take up space for 500 years. I just might need a few more cloth diapers if we plan on only washing every 2-3 days.

I am sick & called for a sub for tomorrow.  Today was rough!  I had a very short temper all day & kept apologizing for losing it.  I amazed my 2nd period by yelling at them.  (But they seriously deserved it - Little bastards wouldn't sit down and shut up!!)
