Happy Veterans Day, my brother (even though I'm one of those "Chair Force" vets XD)
Computer Specialist (can't remember my AFSC) NORAD Cheyenne Mountain Complex/Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs CO HQ Strategic Air Command, Offutt AFB, Omaha NE HQ US Air Forces Central Europe, Ramstein AFB, Germany
Vietnam Era/Cold War
Also, for the record, a bill was recently signed authorizing veterans and out-of-uniform service people to give the hand salute -- previously only uniformed service people and members of veterans service organizations in their uniforms were allowed to. So, for you and all my fellow veterans...
Doesn't matter what the job was. We were ALL part of something bigger. We were part of an idea that the world could be a better place and we are/were willing to put our lives at risk to bring it to that point.
