Stones and Stents and Colic, Oh My!

I went to the urologist yesterday to find out what, if anything, can be done about my kidney stone issue. The guy was ok, considering my aversion to urologists. He basically told me that all pregnant women develop nephrocalcinosis and that lowering my calcium intake in hopes of avoiding another stone is a really bad idea. I always heard that passing kidney stones is the kind of pain for men that is our oppurtunity to feel closest to the level of pain in child birth.

reading this actually made me feel pain in my lower parts. and not i have the desire to pee.....but im afraid to, in case my body is experiencing some sort of sympathy pain.

i know i would start kicking if i was stuck in an enclosed space with no light and no tv or internet connection. maybe thats it....have you considered standing next to the tv and perhaps promising her broadband when she is born? ok. my jokes are lame....a sign of sleep deprevation.

a coworker of mine told me that she knew a guy that had stones and would pass out from the pain. Can you imagine a stone going through a guys little pee hole? Yuck.

I will definitely consider the tv and broadband promise. I already have to pee a thousand times a day. Someone jabbing at my bladder does not help. I think I should look into Depends when she gets bigger. Depends at 28. How horrible.
