Last night I got some useful advice on the easiest way to get rotting flesh off an animal skeleton...from a guy working at Petco. Says he does it all the time. Filed under: Things that make ya say, "Hmmmm?"

Sometime next week, Hedwig (mostly decomposed and bare calf skull, vertebrae and ribs found en route to trailhead) should be ready for a boiling
