But maybe what you need, instead of learning to knit, is a friend who can knit? It would be the same as making it yourself, but conning someone into making you something can be fun on it's own!

Hey, at least you've been enjoying yourself. I've just had to have my appendix out, and you wouldn't think three little holes in your abdomen would be so painful(or maybe you would) BUT YOU WOULD BE WRONG.

Also, I want to do something for you for your birthday, but I feel my writing is inadequate to gift you with a story, which is basically all I can give you. T__T
