Yay for good butt news!

The dessert we just ha might help alleviate most of your issues in this entry: "so delicious" vegan ice cream. It has 12% of daily fiber, 3 grams of sugar, 0 cholesterol, 0 saturated fat, 20 fat calories and other goodness. Hell to the yes!

If you cut LJ-cut a comment, I still probably wouldn't do it. So, here goes:

When I had my "problem" checked out, I was given three options:

1) Surgery. On my asshole. No thanks.
2) Botox injections. In my asshole. No thanks.
3) More non-fermenting fiber, less meat (or less-cooked meat), less toilet paper (I seriously considered getting a bidet), less prolonged sitting, less prolonged standing (WTF?). There are lots of other dietary tricks that help. More relaxed, softer bowel movements. Less stress. Less butt-sex.

Thing is, only #1 and #2 (huhhuhhuh) actually "fix" it "now," but if you don't change what causes it they'll come back. They won't heal on their own if you keep tearing them open with the wrong kind of fiber and garbage food that turns your soft-serve into bricks. Still, fuck that noise. No needles, scalpels, or lasers in my asshole, thankyouverymuch.

Too much info? No such thing. Want to start a support group?

The most recent episode was blood that filled the bowl. It was time.

They've so far, for me, encouraged a better fiber diet, and better actions like you mentioned. That's all I can feasibly do at this point and I'm glad to have the encouragement to get my butt healthy.
