not feeling so confident today.

i moved into my new house yesterday. i am not a violent person by nature but i now have this murderous desire to destroy the seemingly thousands of roosters who began crowing (screeching) right outside my window at 2:00 AM this morning and kept me awake all night. i am going to be a nervous wreck if this continues

i'm just wondering why you chose thailand? i'd be so scared..you're brave! teaching esl in a foreign country is one of my dreams, though..it's so cool that you're doing it.

i really just chose it because i happened to see an ad on idealist.org looking for teachers and thought "hey, why not?" i had heard nothing but wonderful things from friends who had been here and had thought about traveling around SE asia in the spring anyway.

you should definitely go for it. where do you want to teach? in most asian countries you don't need certification; sometimes they'll take just about anyone who is a native english speaker it seems.
