It's been a while since we've gone anywhere - how about visiting the beautiful village of Elton in Derbyshire?

I've decided I'm a total voyeur because I love looking at other people's houses.

Lovely to see a touch of summer in our dark winter.

The third from last photo shows a house with a big white pipe going up the front - an unfortunate place for it to go.

It would have been better grey wouldn't it.

I'd take a paint brush to it, lol. What is that pipe for? Any idea? Can't figure out why it extends beyond the roof.
