These places always look so peaceful. I really hope I can travel there some day. And maybe I'll stay!

I would love to do that - but I seem to have saddled myself with all of these animals. Someday after I get the house updated, maybe I can blow some money on a trip.

I'm buying you lunch when you get here. And I will take you to stand on a piece of Roman pavement.

Many churches have those wooden arches. You probs already know - lych gates.

Thank you! That's the word I couldn't remember for anything - didn't want to call it a corpse gate.

My favourite is number 10, although the garden seems a bit non-English to me.

I enjoyed this charming place, too. :) The wooden arch to the church is wonderful in itself. I love it!

Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed it! The wooden arch/gate is where the burial service started in times gone past. Many of them are centuries old.

Binky told me once she never has to water her garden. Color me jealous. I'd love to have an always green garden.

My garden is white with snow today - sigh, poor daffodils!

And it seems like our summer is starting early here.
