I think pretty much everyone who cares knows the news regarding Fritz Lang's Metropolis now. A badly-damaged but nearly-complete 16mm print was recently found in Argentina, restoring roughly one-fourth of the film that was thought lost forever

I saw that in the papers over here the other day. They said they might be able to have video-quality footage within a few months. Does this mean there'll be a special edition Metropolis DVD? I hope so.
