YES on so much of this! (delurking to squee over a show that I just can't seem to get others to try, so THANK you for talking about it)

NOLAN! so great, both the character and the actor.

I am relieved Tyler is gone since that is a better direction for future plotlines and would have felt more pity for poor mildly-intelligent Daniel, but yeah, I am very sad to see Tyler go. and yes, hotter tonight.

LOLOL on Fauxmanda and Nolan both being in love with those two. I don't much go for Emily/Jack, but I wouldn't say no to Emily/Jack/Nolan -- that scene with Jack saying goodbye just made me think "no stay and make it with them!!!"

Takeda and Nolan is really intriguing.

Thank YOU for talking back about it! I am desperate for more Revenge friends!

Yeah, thinking about it, I do think Daniel dying would have been a waste at this point, so I'm more okay with it. At least Tyler went out in a blaze of crazy, crazy glory.

Yeah, I basically feel the same way. I'm shipping Emily/Nolan hardcore, don't care for Emily/Jack, but Emily/Nolan/Jack works for me. Too bad we'll never get it, and probably WILL get Emily/Jack. *Sigh* At ( ... )

That is a very understandable reaction. I definitely gasped, even after having predicted it. THIS SHOW. It's so good, it actually made me doubt my own assumption that it would be him.

That said, Daniel just got 10 billion times more interesting (and I already kind of liked him). Now that Tyler has told him Emily isn't who he thinks she is, he is going to be a much more powerful, important player in the plot. Even if he tries to dismiss it as Tyler's ravings, you know he's going to be suspicious.

THIS. I'm so excited for how they'll be unraveling this "Daniel knows" storyline! He's one of the Graysons, for God's sake. KUDOS TO THE SHOW FOR GOING THERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIRST SEASON, LOL. Badasses.

I actually kind of like her with Jack (mostly because it is so much better then Emily/Jack), but her relationship with Emily is clearly the most important one in her life. I like that they acknowledge that.I love how you're consistently in my head because I was thinking the same thing about J/F. Not only for the obvious reasons of the N/E OTP nature, but also for other reasons, like... I have an issue with Jack auto!falling head over heels for anyone claiming to be Amanda just because of those memories they shared, ( ... )

I LOVE HOW QUICKLY THIS SHOW MOVES. ♥

I think it would be much more interesting if learning the Fauxmanda/Emily secret (once he gets over the initial shock) didn't result in him suddenly having 0 feelings for Fauxmanda & turning his full attention to Emily just b/c SHE's Amanda. IDK, does that make sense? It makes perfect sense, and I really hope it happens. After all, he did like Fauxmanda before she told him she was Amanda, so it's not All About Amanda, you know? In my dream world, I would love it if Jack decided that the actual connection he has with Fauxmanda is worth more to him than the dream of a little girl he once knew, esp. when he learns that little girl grew up to be a cold, revenge driven crazy person (I say with love ( ... )

How many comment notifications did I get for this reply, LJ? That's right, exactly NONE, the same way I get virtually none about replies to my entries. I think we need to talk.

ME TOO. People like calling it a one season show because of that, which makes me want it to make them eat their words even more when it is more glorious & full of twists next year. :D

Yes, that is a very good point. He was definitely drawn to her and enjoyed her company enough to invite her along to go sailing with him. Seemed like she didn't have to tell him that she was Amanda in order to stay with him - she probably did that so it would be harder for Emily to get her to leave since Jack would do everything to never part ways with her again.

Now, this may be my N/E shipper glasses getting in the way, but I feel like Fauxmanda has more to offer Jack than Emily does (and vica versa). With Fauxmanda, he can be the anchor in her whirlwind storm of emotions, and in return she can be the spice to his honestly bland life.

Yes, I'm with you on that. I'd say this is actually COMMMON SENSE speaking, but I won't exclude the possibility that shipper glasses might have helped achieve that.

#1 I feel like Emily is past straight and narrow at this point, which would mean she'd have to be that person for Jack and most likely feel miserable in the process.

#2 A rather dark & twisty idea, I know, but to me, the overall tone of the show has somehow always suggested that Emily won't be rewarded for what she's done at the end of it all? She might feel emotional satisfaction of having taken her enemies down, but she show is very self aware about the fact that revenge is wrong (which is something I like about it ( ... )

Now that I finally watched this episode (... after watching the 1st ep on Thursday and therefore being totally isolated from other people's reactions as I watched), it's really interesting to hear other people's opinions about the characters and pairings.

I admit that I'm... a sucker for Emily/Jack. I guess I'm kind of always a sucker for the OTPs (exception: Buffy/Spike. but it should be known that I almost stopped watching the show after Angel left because I was so upset initially.) Don't get me wrong, I'm fascinated by the Nolan/Emily dynamic, but I think in my mind he's just too good for her.

Anyway, I agree that I'm super-excited to see what happens with the Daniel-knowing-the-truth unwinding, so... on to episode 16!!

YAY WELCOME TO CLUB REVENGE.

but I think in my mind he's just too good for her.

He! As reasons for not jumping on this ship going, that's a good one. Nolan is pretty fantastic. I just like that they ~understand~ each other. I WISH I could get on the Jack/Emily ship because I do like Jack, but, unlike you, I'm pretty much the opposite of a sucker for most prescribed OTPs (with a few exceptions -- Hi Desmond/Penny from Lost!). At least it doesn't bug me in the way some OTPS do.

Enjoy episode 16! And then sulk with me about how we don't get more until freaking APRIL.
