So, I showed up with all my equipment and alot of energy. Set up my DJ booth on the deck at Stan's. Got everything hooked up, lined up, sound tested, arranged logically and comfortably...and it was AWESOME! Tested the mixerboard, the amp, the disco and laser lights...all was perfect. Played some playlist stuff to motivate everyone to work hard

ACK, be very careful especially with the horns . You need to make sure they are dry then recheck them. They can have a bad way of working and the moisture fries the voice coil. A lot of times they'ld pass check at end of show and the next day we were screwed.

Thanks for the advice! I did, however, wait until they were dried off the next day before powering them up. I'm paranoid about supplying any electronics with juice when they're wet.

So far, all is well. Keeping fingers crossed!
