With this particular individual, it's more like "Never mind that you are suffering and need support. This is about ME, and how your suffering is making ME hurt. I'M the victim here...even though it was my actions that hurt you".

It goes deeper than that, too. Lies and deceit. Hugs and smiles while a dagger awaits from behind. Makes me not want to have close and trusted friends anymore. Know what I mean?
