just for the record, i'm only updating because i am procrastinating and i don't want to finish writing my paper thing even though i'm almost done.
orchestra banquet this (school) year, i just never posted any pics. jessica and i look hot, but sarah... she's just plain sexy.
in case there are any questions about what ''goes down'' (literally) at kyle's house... frank and kyle wrestle on the trampoline.
then alex and i went to the zoo. and that bird was cute, but not nearly as cute as my bird atookie :)
i spend most of my days at this wonderful cancer research lab at the UTHSC. 8-5... everyday. but we all ate indian food today at perla's apartment, which was pretty cool. and everyone's hysterical. but that's a whole other post :)
briefly, i can speak a little chinese, i can say "hi, my name is natalia" in an indian dialect, i can make brigadeiros (from brazil), i tried indian food for the first time in my life, i realized why president bush is a complete and TOTAL idiot for legalizing stem cell research with such absurd limits (you should read the natl geographic article on that if you're interested... it's really good), and i'm doing real cancer research... like the stuff you can actually read about
yeah so this kid is in europe right now. and when he gets back, he leaves again... for europe. but he's so cute!
okay, i take it back. he's adorable!
meanwhile, i get to take care of the world's cutest leopard gecko. he pooed on my mom's head, shed on my stomach, and eats squishy worms that i have to touch. but other than that, he's an awesome gecko.
my bird's actually kinda afraid of him.
other than that, i've hung out with andre; sarah, jessica, alyssa, danielle, frank, and the rest of the gang; and joey which has been a lot of fun. don't forget shopping!! i also went to houston with my sister to see rice which by the way was totally amazing (both houston and rice) and my poor partner at the HSC has to hear me talk about politics with just about everyone we meet.
to be honest, summer has gone by WAY too fast
