apparently LJ is having a crackdown and a half on the HP fandom...and im ever so slightly not impressed! im still unsure as to how serious it has having had a number of different opinions, but one thing is for sure and that's that numerous communities of the more risque sort have been either deleted by their mod's, or banned by LJ itself

its all about supporting illegal behaviour.

they are worried about a few things ie - letting underage people read r rated fics. erm incest is a big thing if you have that down in your interests delete it.

if you know of anything with interests that are a no go tell them to delete their interest lists.

ps - theres huge uproar about this all and im sure soon enough itll be sorted theres too many people out there to ban..there will be major reprocussions for lj :S:S

i know the alleged reasons, but im also pretty sure they're stretching the TOS to get rid of the more..."interesting" communities...

grrr...why do people like that fanlib site and that fucking mary jane doll retailers have to draw attention to our nice little world of fandom, and bring it crashing down?!?!

hmm...but yeah, i got the heads up earlier from my other fandom friends so i assume they've already fixed up their interests...
