I was chatting with Greg in the kitchen this evening about school and the reality kicked in that at this time next year we could be back east if the school gods smile upon us.
I am looking forward to a new adventure...and lots of trees.

Oh trust me when we went to N.Y. a few years ago, I got hooked, there is no dragging involved..though we are going to the south east it's only a 2hr flight up north

Trees! Wherever you land next, may you be surrounded by trees. They have truly helped me living here in Dallas Texass. Our home is in a neighborhood with lots n lots n lots of trees!!! All kinds of oaks <3 and some other speciess too. But no palm trees. F'ing palm trees. Scourge of the tree world and so abundant in Phoenix.
Back to the happy:
Squirels n birds n butterflies n lizards. The sound of the wind through the leaves. The dropping of the leaves to mark the Fall. The joy that trees bring. May you have them soon <3
One thing I do miss, and do not have here, is the air scented with trees. I do crave sweet, earthy, tree scented air! Have you seen the trees on the Olympic Peninsula, northwest Washington? Oh my. Steal your heart. The temperate rainforests, the tree covered Mountains meeting the lakes, n rivers, n ocean, the forests with the lush ferns n moss.... bliss

Oh I cannot wait..I so hope I am able to get the kind of property I want and if that is the case..I am going to have TONS of trees :)
