Hmmm let's see. I haven't smoked in over a week, and it is definitely making me stress the fuck out. My body wants nicotine reeeeally bad. So instead, I eat. and that's a problem. Is there a gym around you? If so, maybe a few good rounds with the punching bag will help.

Nicotine speeds up metabolism and its an appetite suppressant so your weight gain is partly because of that. If you have to eat, try eating something like dry Cinammon toast crunch: sweet, satisfying, and relatively healthy. Or gum...

It might be water weight, so make sure you drink lots of water!

also, since alcohol is a diuretic, and nicotine is an anti-diuretic, drinking will make you want to smoke even more. Resist!
