Okay, so I saw an article in the Independent today with the rather inflamatory headline "Why women really do love self-obsessed psychopaths

Zillions of writers have made this claim over and over again, and I want them to all be torn apart by ferocious she bears...because secretly that's what all men really want...to be totally mauled and devoured by a strong female.

I think the fact that nearly all psychological studies are conducted on samples of white middle class 18-21 college age kids (because they get course credits for participating) might skew these studies. Just a thought.

Although psychologically, that is a fallacy, when taken holistically, biologically, it makes a lot more sense. The end result of either women defaulting to the ultra-submissive type who likes assholes or assholes just getting their way because they're the right mix of pushy and lying enough, is identical. Yeah, but the point is the headline does not honestly say what THIS study was about.

Oh, not saying it's not a bad article, maybe a little inflammatory for the sake of it... but the science underneath it all isn't unfounded. It's just not quite as simplistic as implied.
