Nope. I'm going freelance for a bit. It only usually takes about 2 weeks for me to find work. I also have a couple of little jobs on for friends which is cool.

I had such a hard time landing my first real job; that the prospect of jumping out of it with no safety net (in the form of another job already set up ) fills me with horror to such an extent that I can actually taste the bile rising. If you have rare skills, and can therefore freelance, your situation might be different. But the prospect of losing everything at 34 is terrifying to me.

I understand - it's not for everyone. It suits me and my profession though.
