Wow, when you're totally helpless you sure realize how nice the people around you are. My family has taken care of anything i need while i sit in the chair doing nothing

Perhaps so as to not come across that way you would want to let these people know that. But even if you haven't said it you need to realize they are caring for you and don't think it's a burden.
