no actually i don't know who the hell she is, or you are. I saw your post to the umd group and thought I would post here instead of replying to your post. The people that post to the umd group are a bunch of whiny little kids who hate the school, and have nothing else to do but trash it on LJ. 99% of the kids at UMD love the school more than anything else in the world, and the other 1% have LJs. See you next year :-)

Hi! I came over from deaf after your interesting question/conversation. The schools in your profile coincide kind of crazily with my life--half my Maryland friends went to UMBC (and I very nearly did, too), my brother goes to UA now, and I took a bunch of courses at CCBC.
I'm still in Maryland now, and go to Gallaudet.
