suck my left nut. They will never receive a dime from me again. When Shit*Mart first opened in Middlefield there were 4 grocery stores in town. Now there is one and its a Giant Eagle so I won't shop there either for various reasons that don't belong in this rant. But I digress, let me explain ( Read more... )

I find very often they tend to only carry things for short amounts of times

I think that is mostly because what happens when they try to bully a price out of a company and the company says no way we won't pay that so walmart just decides not to carry it at all.

See, this is disappointing. The old Geo would see this as a good thing, because it means there's an opening in the market to sell these products. Sure, going against Wal-Mart is risky, but you've never been afraid of that before.

This is why I don't have a big problem with small businesses (and I use that term loosely), but I have a big problem with private-sector monopolies.

I have long believed that when I liked a product, it was the "kiss of death" for it. I could find it for a time and then it would disappear from the shelves. Glad to see I'm not alone, lol. Yes, Wal-Mart seems to exist only to run other businesses out of business and then it starts making that sucking sound.
