I haven't posted in two months and the easiest way to explain it is to start from the beginning.
In June there were my exams so clearly I was busy. I started working full-time as a summerjob at the post office where I usually just have 10-12 hours a week. I'm not sure I've elaborated before but my co-workers range from the incredibly lonely and

I'm so sorry to hear that things have not been going well for you. Stess is not a good thing. I moved 3 months ago, trying to handle mortgage payments(because my daughter that moved in has since gotten ill and cannot) as well as my rent, bills and some of her medical bills. Needless to say my hair started falling out, thought it was my thyroid, had all kinds of lab work but was told all's well. So now I have this nice fashionable short do(really SHORT) - LOL. Well I said when I hit 50 I was cutting it, what the heck *G*.
All that to say...I FEEL for you girlie. Hang in there and know you have a big TEXAS HUG being sent your way!

Thank you so much! I'm a very laidback person generally and when all this stress started pouring in, I just tried to take it in stride. Then all of a sudden, I was worn out and all because I didn't say stop at the right time.
I've never been really big on the stress factor, especially since a lot of people I know, including my mother, use it as a 'get out of jail' free card for everything. But I have now experienced it first hand, it's a silent killer.
My heart really goes out to you on all your worries. I hope your daughter gets better and her situation improves. But I do love how you're finding the positive in the situation with your hair for instance. I think I really started to go down when I forgot to see the bigger picture and see the positive too.
I'm really big on inner glow, the strength and courage people radiate from inside so I'm sure you must be rocking that hair! :)

It's good to see you back - I was getting worried about your extended absences, but there wasn't much I could do!
It sounds like your life's been insane since you vanished. I'm so sorry! But I'm glad you're back, and am so sorry that you didn't get your BigBang story in! It would have been awesome to have a cohort in the John/Teyla section! But you made it, all the same, in spite of the crap. That's amazing!
*hugs*

LOL, they are turning out to be repetitive, aren't they?
*shakes head*
Thanks so much though, I'd completely forgotten that finishing the BigBang is an achievement in itself. I was so focused on what went wrong I didn't think about what I got right. I won't be in the J/T section but I'll cheer and holler for you! :)
I've missed you and fandom too. It's been a while since I've read one of your stories and I'm totally not used to it. I'll browse tomorrow.
Meanwhile, I'll rest and catch up on the eps, see what's in store for us this year.
PS: I would love to meet up this January. My friend lives in Melbourne but I'm also planning on staying a while in Sydney. Nothing like the natives to get the best perspective on a city!

What do you want to do? Climb the Harbour Bridge? Go bushwalking in the Blue Mountains? A day (or several) at a beach? Warning: if you're coming in January, it'll probably be burning hot - although February's usually worse. Then again, this year it mostly rained in January.
How long will you be in Sydney?
