Techfails (Adam/Sauli)
Summary: Katri and Sauli are trying to make their Skype-Tutkas work. They fail several times, and their biggest fail happens while Adam is there and horny.Disclaimer: I don't own anyone, the story is (most likely) all lies.
“Perkele. Why isn’t this shit working?” Sauli cussed, staring at the blank screen. He could feel a bad headache pulsing in his head. He had been trying for hours to establish a Skype connection to Katri, but they had failed every single time.
He got up from the desk chair he was sitting on by the pool, put his laptop on the ground and took off his shirt. He needed a break to clear his mind, and the pool looked so tempting in the afternoon heat of LA, so he jumped eagerly into the refreshing water and swam a few strokes.
Sauli loved this pool, its cool water and the breathtaking view over LA. But the best thing about the pool was definitely all the things Adam and him used to do in there. Sauli blushed a little at the thought and smiled a little sheepishly. Would Adam want to skinny-dip when he came home tonight? Or would he be all cuddly and in the mood to watch a movie in bed? Or...?
At this moment, Adam’s voice brought him back to reality. Well, not Adam in person, but Sauli’s phone playing ‘Aftermath’. It was Sauli’s favorite song by Adam. Actually he loved all of his songs, but Aftermath was special. Sauli had the impression that Adam was more vulnerable than usual while singing this song. All the pain and pressure he had gone through in the past showed in his eyes. And even if it was just for a short moment, Sauli always felt a strong urge to protect him. Never again should Adam be forced to have those feelings , Sauli was going to impede this, no matter how.
Adam had rolled his eyes when he first noticed Sauli’s ringtone choice, mumbling something like ‘Oh God baby, how cheesy’. But Sauli had seen the smile on Adam’s face and the sparkling in his eyes after saying that.
Sauli got out of the pool and, even though he could listen to Adam’s voice forever, answered the phone immediately.
‘Sauli? What the hell are you doing? I am trying to skype with you!’ Katri sounded impatient and slightly annoyed.
‘I’ve been trying to do that too, but somehow it doesn’t work, no idea why. The whole thing gave me a headache, I had to take a break.’ Sauli answered.
Katri sighed. ‘It’s okay, but we really need to make it work now, so hang on please.’
‘Alright, I’m on my way. See you in a few minutes - hopefully.’ Sauli sighed too and hung up.
Jeez, that woman had sounded almost hysterical. But she was right. They needed to make it work now. They had been thinking for so long how they could continue their little shows despite the distance between them, and now that they actually had a plan, they couldn’t make it work. They were supposed to start last week, but due to tech fails they had needed to postpone it to this week, and it still wasn’t working. One would think that at least Sauli shouldn’t have any problems with Skype, after skyping almost daily with Adam during those weeks they had been apart before Sauli had moved to LA, but still…
Sauli went back to the pool and slid back in, carefully, paying attention so his arms and hands would not get wet. Then he reached out for his laptop and pulled it closer to the edge. Again he tried to establish a connection to Katri… and again he failed. He closed his eyes and clenched his fists.
‘Voi vittu…’ he started to rant, but in this moment, he heard Katri giggle. Kinda shocked he opened his eyes to see Katri on his laptop screen.
‘Hi Sauli, hi! We made it! It’s working!’ Katri said with a big grin on her face.
‘Yes…’ Sauli answered, still too surprised to really say anything. So he just listened to Katri who was already talking her head off about what was going on in Finland. Sauli just nodded here and there or said a few words, mostly just happy to see his friend again (even if it was just on a screen) and that the skyping finally had worked.
Katri was talking about the new season of Big Brother when Sauli noticed someone walking from the house towards the pool. Adam! Sauli’s instant reaction would have been to call his name and wave to him, but then he remembered he was still skyping, and he didn’t want to ruin it. So he only stared at his boyfriend coming closer and smiled.
Adam smiled too and bit his lip. Damn, his boyfriend was looking hot. Shirtless, leaning over the edge of the pool, water droplets on his beautiful tanned torso glittering in the sunlight. But his boyfriend was also looking kinda busy… Right. He had told Adam this morning that him and Katri were going to try to skype today. Adam didn’t want to disturb, so he just made signs, asking if he could join him in the pool. Sauli nodded and focused on the conversation with Katri again, until… the connection suddenly broke and the screen turned blank.
‘Wha…? Why now again?’ Sauli whined, staring at his laptop. He felt like punching the device.
‘Are you having problems again?’ Adam asked, approaching his boyfriend through the water.
‘Yeah, I just don’t know what on earth we are doing wrong.’ Sauli’s frustration was written on his face.
‘Aww poor baby, come here.’ Adam said pulling Sauli into his arms. They shared a deep wet kiss. Sauli rested his head on Adam’s chest and sighed.
‘How was your day? Did you get that new song done? I missed you.’
Adam’s face lit up. ‘The new song came out epic, and the day, as such, was great, creative and so much fun.’
‘That’s great to hear’ Sauli answered, tracing little circles with his finger over Adam’s freckly chest.
‘But I missed you too, and so I was looking forward the whole time to getting done with work today and heading home to spend some time with you.’ Adam mumbled and placed a kiss on Sauli’s forehead. ‘And now I come home and see you all frustrated and in a bad mood which makes me feel kinda guilty because my day was so great and all.’
‘Shh, don’t be silly, Adam. It’s not your fault that modern technology decided to hate me.’ Sauli lifted his head and grinned at his boyfriend. ‘But I must say, now that you’re here, I already feel much better.’
But then he turned all serious, detached himself from Adam and turned around to face his laptop. ‘I really wonder why this just isn’t working. Is it the laptop or the internet connection?’
Adam frowned. As much as he respected Sauli’s work, he wanted his boyfriend all for himself now. He wrapped his arms around Sauli’s waist from behind and slightly bit his shoulder. Sauli had been so focused on skyping that it was only now that he noticed that Adam had taken off his swimming trunks and was completely naked. Not that it really mattered now, cause he had work to do.
‘Adam? What are you doing? I need to work!’
‘No, you don’t. You have been trying all day. Maybe it is just not meant to work today. Tomorrow is a new day you guys can try again.’
Sauli looked skeptical. ‘I don’t know if that’s a good idea…’
‘It is. Just let it go and relax.’ Adam said whispering into Sauli’s ear and tugging on Sauli’s swimming trunks.
Sauli opened his mouth to contradict, but the words he was going to say turned into moaning when he felt Adam’s hand on his crotch.
‘Yeah that’s right honey, just relax and let me take care of you.’Adam smiled into Sauli’s shoulder, determined to make his boyfriend forget about work.
He licked the fairy tattoo on Sauli’s neck intensely while he started squeezing Sauli’s nipple with one hand and rubbing Sauli’s hole with his fingers of the other hand. Sauli’s breath was getting heavier the longer Adam went on, and even broke off for a few seconds when Adam inserted a finger.
‘You like, huh?’ Adam asked teasingly, his lips slightly touching Sauli’s earlobe.
Sauli didn’t say anything in return, he just nodded, almost fanatically. Adam added another finger and splayed them, stretching him from the inside to get him ready.
‘Adam’ Sauli begged, reaching for Adam’s dick and balls.
‘What?’ Adam asked, feeling himself harden under his boyfriend’s touch, even though he knew exactly what his boy wanted.
But he didn’t give Sauli time to answer the question. Rapidly he shoved his fingers deeper inside Sauli, touching his prostate repeatedly, until Sauli was trembling and panting so hard Adam feared he would suffocate.
Gosh, his boyfriend was so beautiful like this. Well, actually he was always beautiful, no matter what. But he especially loved looking at him when Sauli was arching, squirming, trembling and moaning, completely out of control under Adam’s touch.
‘Adam, please, fuck me already, I can’t take it any longer.’ Sauli whined.
‘Yes baby, it’s time.’ Adam replied, his voice filled with pure desire.

‘What was that?’ Adam asked.
‘I don’t know.’ Sauli answered. ‘Maybe just an animal in a tree or something.’
They looked up to the trees, searching for the source of the noise. Then they heard it again. It came from the edge of the pool, from Sauli’s laptop where Katri’s face had shown up again.
‘Um… hi Sauli, hi Adam. I guess I am disturbing you, huh? Well yeah, Sauli just disappeared from the screen and then I kept trying to solve the problem and here I am again, I didn’t know I was going to interrupt you.’ She grinned shyly.
‘Oh my God, I’m sorry, Katri, Adam just came back home, and I guess I was just so happy to see him that I forgot about the skyping thing and all, I’m so sorry.’ Sauli blushed.
‘Hi Katri, yeah Sauli is right, it’s actually my fault, I distracted him.’ Adam said, waving awkwardly from behind Sauli. He squinched up his face in pain. He was already too soft to stay inside of Sauli any longer, it was starting to hurt. With an unhandy move he pulled out. He could see Katri’s eyes widen at the movement, obviously she had not fully understood the situation before.
‘Oh. my. God... I had no idea guys, excuse me for being that slow. Oh Gosh it’s so embarrassing… I better leave you alone. Sauli, we’ll talk tomorrow or so.’ With those words, her face disappeared from the screen, leaving Adam and Sauli alone.
‘God I can’t believe it. I’ve tried so long to make this shit work, and then when I give up on it, it suddenly decides to work all by itself! Modern technology must truly hate me.’ Sauli shook his head in lack of understanding.
‘Just tell me that this wasn’t a livestream.’ Adam said almost panicking.
‘No it wasn’t, you can calm down.’ Sauli answered.
‘Phew! Thank God, that would have been just too much.’ Adam sighed in relief.
They stood there in silence for a while, not saying a single word, just thinking about what had happened a moment ago. Then their eyes met and they both burst out in laughter.
