Today has been horrible. I have son much work to make up at school. I also think I have lost one of my best friends. We have been friends for only 4 months, but I feel like I can tell this person anything. They mean a whole lot to me. I knew that a friendship like this was too good to be true. Hey Amber! Omg you are so going to have to get on facebook and update me on whats going on! I didnt fully inderstand the message b-c there has to be more than just that! Hey, girl. It's going to be ok, but I know that I don't have to tell you that. Don't stress out about school work--it's just school work. (Trust me-- I've learned that the hard way.) Ohh, and about the friend thing...that one's happened to me before, too. Just as long as you've done your part, there's nothing you can do (well, duh, Whitney). Just hang in there. Friends will come and go your whole life. What's important is that YOU be the friend that YOU need to be.
Hope your week gets better. (Ohh, and I read another one of your entries. Here's a secret from me: a mom is the best friend you will EVER have. Open up to her. Let her teach you. She is wise beyond years. Take it from a girl whose best friend in the whole world is her mom, don't ever take your mother for granted. You'll appreciate her so much one day.)

Thanks for the encouragement Whitney. I really appreciate it. I know that I will appreciate my mom later on, but right now, sometimes it is so hard to. I am caught up on the school work, but now I am worried about drum major tryouts. I really want it, but I don't know if I can get it. I am just really stressed right now, but thanks for the encouragement. It is good to know that someone has been through what I am going through!
