Just to put it out there, the Amish are a group of people who, as you said, do not object to technology but tend to keep it away from the routines of their daily lives. That is seemingly simple and pure, but the Amish are also a jaded community of people who literally believe that the only people who deserve to live are those that follow a specific creed which obsessively follows the words of God and Jesus and the Prophets. This may seem harmless, but the Orthodox Amish tend to censor parts of the Holy Scriptures that they feel are senseless, which is a completely, disgustingly hypocritical ritual. They are a people who pick and choose what their members have access to, and they believe that anyone who chooses to spend time among peoples of other creeds and religions in our outside of the community are devilish and affected by a darker entity or power. They also practice excommunication against people who betray the very strict and harsh laws of Amish life, and put people "in the ban" from seeing their families if they choose to lead

I've felt rather scattered lately, so I've decided to start exercising and meditating, the latter I've never really done before. I'm looking forward to learning anyway. I believe in simplifying things.
