I've been neglecting this community far too much! I know I have, with work, my lack of motivation to make icons...and the fact that the inspiration is simply gone for my graphics. I see no point in keeping this community open if I'm never going to post anything in it unless the requests I had to force myself to do TT___TT ( Read more... )

I'm 50/50, I like your work a lot but if you feel you can't do anything with it then it's your call.

possibly...or if anything, close down the community..and come back when IM ready and remake the whole thing into something better

I strongly disagree in you closing it. You can decide whatever you like in the long run, but I like your graphics. Furthermore, making graphics is something I know you enjoy! Passions should live a long life.

I love making graphics. But I hate having this community sit here collecting cobwebs when I never post anything....other than a random update post...containing...nothing >< thanks though, make sure you cast your vote too :)

i considered that, but when I posted an entry asking people about it...no one really seemed interested in the idea...aside from the fact that i would hate to have someone be left with the duty of keeping this comm alive while im off doing...not icony things

I'd hate to see it go, but I understand at the same time.

Why not hiatus it instead of closing it entirely? You never know if you'll ever feel like using it again so perhaps an indefinite hiatus would work better?

OH OH, just a fun suggestion. I've already suggested this but you can... totally like (1) find a graphics artist who doesn't have a comm and is interested in joining or (2) start a collab journal with a friend.

Oh, and before you get to complain, take a look at teh_candycane. A collab journal by me and my online bff lolicount. Among the two of us, I'm the one updating the comm the most on the month of febuary. so it's all goooood.
