Human life is meant for cultivation of spiritual knowledge, in external relationship with the Surpreme Personality of Godhead. I know this, but knowing and consummation this knowledge are two distinct things.
"That is certainly the sublime occupation by which causeless and unbroken devotional service unto the Transcendence will completely satisfy the self." srimad bhagavatam 1:2:6
"Ones desires are not so much there for sense-gratification, profit and self -preservation, but instead ones occupational activities are meant for no other purpose than inquiring after the Absolute Truth." srimad bhagavatam 1:2:10
"they do not realize this brief life is but a moment on our great journey towards self-realization. the whole system of education is geared towards sense gratification"
Bhagavad Gita 11.54, "My dear Arjuna, only by undivided devotional service can I be understood as I am standing before you and can thus be seen directly. Only in this way can you enter into the mysteries of My understanding"
Prabhupada makes a few statements, 1. Love is reserved for Krishna. 2.You cannot know Krishna. 3. To know Krishna is to love Krishna.
