I totaled my car today. There's a 4-lane divided highway, 45 MPH speed limit, between an apartment complex and Merrimac College. No pedestrian crossing for 1/2 mile or so each way. So... a stream of young people risking life and limb (and everyone else's, too) darting across

I have no ideas or suggestions, just relief that you and your cat are okay and sympathy, having cracked my own bumper recently.

Edited to add: oh wait, I do have one idea! A recent model car in good condition could have been a lease or a rental that has been returned at the end of its lease or being phased out of a rental fleet.

Yes! Enterprise Car Sales in Woburn treated me very well with my last purchase. Before that, Enterprise in Tewksbury. You can check their inventory online. Mileage is high but cars are well maintained. Good prices, same factory warranty (and the ability to purchase extensions).
