...or was the DethFertility episode a bit low?
Finally found a working link to get the darn episode on my computer and watched it vividly... And there was the fall.
I dunno... Perhaps I've been expecting a damn much about this episode, but still... There's something about it I can't quite qualify, that sort of felt bittersweet.
Not bitching about it. The animation is awesomer than it's ever been, the songs were wonderful and I loved the kidnapping bit at the beginning. But yeah, sort of puzzled here... It made me smile, it sure did, I giggled a little, but it wasn't the huge laughters you could hear in the building that I used to have (trufax. We used to gather with my bros and watch the new episodes all together, and the neighbours often told us to be less noisy 'coz they could hear us from one building to an other...)
I really don't know why I feel so confused about this episode. I mean, despite its humour, and Murderface being 'critically' wounded, there's still something about it that feels unachieved. As if Murderface and Toki were the official clowns, everything mostly evolves around them, but it sort of gets... old?
Anyway, conclusion to rant. What I expected was something as strong and impressive as Renovationklok. This is by far my top one episode of season 3, and I really feel there's much potential coming from that episode. Like a promise for a darker and deeper plot. Perhaps I placed too much expectation on DethFertility, am just a stupid French person, always complaining about stuff without actually participating in the debate. But still. I'm waiting eagerly to see a plot there. And DethFertility, despite being quite enjoyable, wasn't up to my expectations.
Still thanking Brendon and all the staff for their work, though. Their dedication is simply amazing, and I'll still wait eagerly for all the new releases !
Ffff shut up, FrenchFace, you have no idea what you're talking about.
