Latet? I thought "to give" was "l'natan." *looks up "latet" in dictionary*...I see "Letet", which means "malt"...

"Baruch ata adomai noten haTorah" means "Blessed are you, G-d, who gave [us] the Torah," so yeah...

Anyway, I looked up 'latet' in my Hebrew-English dictionary, and found it listed as: v inf, 'to give'. Next to it were: pst 'natan'; pres 'noten'; fut 'yeeten'.

So looks like it matches up pretty well; if 'inf' is short for 'informal', that could be why it doesn't show up in yours? I know almost nothing about Hebrew, so I wouldn't know. XD 'Noten' is listed there though; you're certainly right on that. XD

This dictionary is romanized, though. So it's quite possible there were different methods of romanizing the vowels between them, too. It does give the Hebrew characters for 'latet'... *Digs for alphabet list, since she can't read them all yet* Looks like 'tev-tev-lamed'.
