Thoughts and deductive logic reasoning on the evolution of Homo sapiens and the existence of god

So I have currently made it a major priority in my life to prove or disprove what I believe about god using sound indisputable logic. These are the things I have put together in the start of my research ( Read more... )

yeah, learning more about evolution might be helpful to you, but i dunno if specifics are actually necessary to be satisfied with your beliefs if you just use proper reasoning.

for example, it's not that "the entire earth (i think you mean humans?) evolved from the same thing." people evolved from a few different kind of species (homo erectus, neanderthal, etc.) and homo sapiens just adapted better to the earth. besides, you're also not giving credit where credit's due for our uncanny ability to reproduce. after all, 50 years ago there was less than 3 billion people on the planet...look at us now! you make evolution sound unrealistic, but it's actually not.

anyway, we can chat about this once you get back. hope you're still enjoyin' your job! :)

actually, evolution is pretty unrealistic. once established mechanisms are put into place it's fairly easy to see how evolution works, but in the eyes of many people, evolution fails to successfully describe how those mechanisms originated. like i've pointed out in one of my posts: mutations (and hence natural selection) couldn't arise until (1) genetic information developed and (2) developed a mechanism for reproduction and (3) implementation in offspring.

but anyway - like you said, andrew - proving evolution won't prove whether or not a god created it.

imo the creator god is irrelevant. the existence of a personal god is what is important.
