depends what you want out of interacting with said person...you're aware of the repercussions...its your decision to go ahead and pursue!!
i don't think its wrong so long as both parties know whats going on...

I think both parties do, its just strange asking someone out on a date that you entirely sure that you'll like in the medium term. That said going out with someone rather dissimilar to me is probably a good idea O.o
