Well, that was crazy-go-epic. Wow. Just... wow. I had all this stuff I wanted to comment on while reading it, but that seems like so long ago now, and now I can't think of anything significant to say. Sooooo good? That's not really significant. But it's true! There was a lot of panicked flailing. Awesome.
This is amazingly awesome. Larry/Oz, Parkman being so cold-hearted, Buffy mentioning Spike instead of Angel, vampires not having any thoughts... pretty much all of this is excellent, though I do wish there had been a happy end. Poor Mohinder, poor Niki, poor everyone!
Thank you so, so much. I really appreciate it. Also:
Buffy mentioning Spike instead of Angel
Glad you liked this, and:
vampires not having any thoughts
Alas, this is not my brilliant idea, but rather Joss Whedon's, since in the episode where Buffy gets mind-reading powers ("Earshot"), there's a tiny reference to vampire's having no mental "reflections" like in mirrors, too. But I thought it was pretty cool. :D Especially to use with Parkman!
Thank you again! I know, it was kind of depressing and apocalyptic. But yes. :D
Right, I vaguely remember Buffywondering why she couldn't read Angel's thoughts... that was a good ep (Cordelia's thoughts, haha!) but The Wish is one of my favorite episodes so this was especially awesome.
Don't get me wrong, I like dark and depressing but you really had me rooting for them here, I hoped they'd win. (So if you ever feel like writing an apocalyptic but victorious BtVS/Heroes AU crossover, consider me glued to the screen! ;-))
Well, Niki is still alive at the end. And Larry/Oz is completely up for grabs whether or not they live, although obviously it's implied they won't. ;) And... Sylar and Mohinder are alive and together! In a really unhappy, freakin' depressing, guilt-ridden, tormented way of course, but, you know. It happens.
Hee, I will let you know if I ever write anything with a happy ending. Deal? :D
Wow. WOW. This was absolutely amazing; you took both of my favorite fandoms and mixed them together so well. Mohinder and Sylar.... Buffy and Peter... the ending... aksdjfasdf. It's all so dark and angsty and FUCKED UP and I love it. You did a fantastic job with this. A thousand Internets to you :)
I'm not a Buffy fan, not at all, and I despise Peter/Niki, so I pretty much read this for the sake of Sylar and Mohinder. I wasn't disappointed. Sure, I didn't know half of what was going on when it came to the vampires, so I did skip over a lot, but over all I enjoyed reading it. Great job, this thing really is huge..lol.

And I'm so glad you read it even with the Buffy thing and the Peter/Niki thing, etc. Thank you so much!
