I was severely pissed off when I turned on the music channel the other morning and found that the bloody song had made its way across the Atlantic. So many things about it piss me off - "it's not what good girls do." Oh, really? Very nice. I happen to be fucking lovely, thanks Katy. Her attitude in interviews is what tipped me over the edge; I think in Out she was justifying the song "Ur so gay" (another delightful "I'm edgy and cute so it's not really homophobic" song) by just repeating "No! Gay people have a great sense of humour." WE ALL HAVE A COLLECTIVE BRAIN, AND TOTALLY FIND THE SAME THINGS FUNNY. Wrong. Some of us are right miserable bastards.

You are fantastic. Let me modify my earlier statement: ILU SO MUCH. :D
Oh god, and in one of the articles with her, she said the number one thing that will piss me off: "I know gay people! I love gay people!" I hate when people start making tokens of out other people. The "I can't be homophobic because I have a gay acquaintance" excuse makes me furious.
Can I be a right miserable bastard with you? *Puppy eyes*. :D
