Sean introduced me to Lucy on one of my first visits here. I fell in love instantly, and we would often stop in when we were in the area just to pet her for a few minutes. I'm sad to hear that she won't be there anymore. But, like you, I'm glad I had the chance to know here while she was there.

I immediately wondered if they'd get another kitty, I don't know why. Of course, no one will ever really replace Lucy, but I guess I just liked having the place be a special kitty destination when I was over in the area.

:) Me too. Although the last few times I visited, if a long time had passed in between, I'd ask if she was still around. The end was definitely on the horizon, since she was such a grande old dame. :)

I loved her chirps. They broke the book-store silence in such a cheerful way (and took my ears away from boring in-store readings).
