To be honest, I kinda do too. I had a good(ish) time this time, and I really liked getting out of town and seeing something I don't see every day, but the whole town is based on a way of living that never attracted me much, and does so increasingly less the longer I'm alive.
:) Uh oh, there you go using that wild street lingo of yours. Does "ruff" mean "cool" or "rough" or what? Because, I did think it was a little rough, but cool, too.
It's occurred to me that since I haven't been out there riding roller coasters in some time, I've missed the fact that they've undoubtedly been getting bigger and badder and faster and wilder the whole time I've been away. (A subject in which I'm sure you're well versed.) So maybe some of my discomfort on re-entry was due to being old, but maybe some was just being unaccustomed to how things have changed.
You should go do the Star Trek Experience... two attractions for $30., and the Borg 3D one is pretty good. :)
Yeah, I thought about that when we passed it on the monorail. And the announcement talked about it, then made the joke "so if there's a Klingon sitting next to you, now you know why." Hardy har!
BTW? I have a REEEEALLY ugly, random gift to bring to the Crap!Fest this year. ::grins in anticipation::

That is the understatement of all time. I have a three-day Vegas limit, myself. Starting on Day Four, I will not be responsible for my actions.
Fourteen DOLLARS for a roller coaster ride? Owww. I know the one at the top of the Stratosphere is pricey too.

While I didn't know there was one at the top of the Stratosphere at all.

I thought the whole point of Vegas was that you were never responsible for your actions. ;)

What? You didn't ride a gondola? :grins:

Not from the ride, no. From the endless walking, yes.

No, I was afraid water + Venetian employee might = conviction for murder by drowning.

But overall, agreed. I can take Vegas in VERY small doses.
