Hi-Fi is the shit....little teeny boppers are fucking annoying....Craig seemed so bored too.
So I got dismissed today, more like...walked out the front door of school, to get ready to catch the train to Boston. Uh...I think every person in Worcester that had NO teeth, was on that train. I was slightly entertained by the toothless, high black man who took peoples walkmens and danced and sang...something was honestly wrong with all these people. Three men infront of me as I was walking to Jillians to meet up with my girls, made me crack up SO hard, I literally had to stop. I honestly, LOVE Bostonians more than anything, rudest people you'll ever meet. :)
Anyhow, one train ride, two subways and a walk later, I met up with the lovely Kelly, Suzie and Diane(who I was meeting for the first time) She's awesome. The four of us sat in Jillians just hanging out, we went to the bathroom, and there was a cardboard type paper thing hanging on the wall, where it seemed there should be a picture, and a few people had signed it, sooo I really wanted to sign it, so Kelly gave me a pen and I wrote "Kelly, Maggie, Suzie, and Diane were here 05" and then Suzie wrote "American Hi-Fi Rocks!" We're such losers, but hey....in 5 years when we forget about it, and we go in there, we'll chuckle to ourselves. Oh, anddd we heard Geeks, while sitting in Jillians, pretty cool.
Anyhow, so then we went to wait in line, and there was some chick who from behind looked about 16ish, but afterwards we realized her face looked sooo old, and she was probably around 30 I'd say. She had a stylish eyebrow ring, and the ugliest skirt ever made, with matching ugly shoes. The skirt was pink, but not a nice pink, and it had black along the bottom, and she had these laced up black leather boots that came to her knee. It was so unflattering, and since I know everyone cared what this lady was wearing haha, but we had some good laughs at that. Hopefully she isn't reading this right now haha, but I do give her props for knowing all the words to every song. :) This crowd in Boston was made up of the most random groups of people. Fucking Bowling for Soup sucks so much.
Anyhow, Mc Lars did his odd little raps, and Riddlin Kids did their thing, which never seems to win me over. That lead singer's head is far too wide for his body, and he over does himself with the facial expressions. But ya then came the Hi-Fi.
First, I have to just let everyone know, that if you plan on going to these shows, to be prepared of 14 year olds who act like 12 year olds at an Nsync show. Behind us, were about 5 or 6 girls who we're not cute in the least. Every two seconds they'd go "ready...one, two, three, YOU'RE SO SEXY! WOOOOOO!" and for some reason they didn't get the hint that the people onstage were not listening to them, and were completely ignoring them. During Hi-Fi's set, Stacy came over to where we were standing, smothered Kel, and these girls honestly...I kid you not.....jumped UP and DOWN and one girl was almost completely in TEARS. Dead serious, it was like they were straight from Nsync dvd footage. It was horrible. They kept yelling FLAVOR OF THE WEAK! Oh lord, I'm so glad I wasn't like that two years ago, I'd wanna be shot. So after Hi-Fi's set, as we were leaving, one of the girls was pushing me so hard I finally got so pissed I said "honestly, you really need to grow up!" and she gave me the worst look, but it was just so hard to have to listen to them all show.
But moving onto the more important things....Hi-Fi played really well tonight, and the crowd was very into them. After the show, the line for their merch table was incredible. They played Vertigo, Rise, Geeks, Art of Losing, We Can't be Friends, Break Up Song, Flavor, Fool, APD, Nothing Left to Lose (AWESOME) anddd I think that may be it, I'm not sure exactly. It was a good set list though, a very good mix of old and new. They got the crowd going, and the sound in Avalon was outstanding. Very crisp and clear, and it made Drew's vocals sound great. Jamie's guitar playing was right on key tonight, not that it usually isn't but for some reason tonight, it sounded really good. Sutter (whom I still haven't met after all these shows) did his own little drum solo, which gave me more respect for him as a drummer, cause what he was doing was insane. Stacy was...how he usually is haha. I don't know what more I can say exactly besides the fact his Red Sox "fitted" hat, didn't exactly "fit" him too well, but it's all good. All around, they did a really good show, very energetic as always, and a crowd pleaser.
After the show, me, Suzie, Diane, and Kel just hung around. Mind you at this point, it was about 8:30, so we just kinda hung. Kelly wandered off and did her own thing, while, me Suzie and Diane just kinda hung around, John from Vals band came and talked to us, and we ended up making fun of Bowling For Soup and how horrible they are, and we talked about their guitarist's weight issue..he's a wicked chill guy, and has a good sense of humor. Stacy came to talk to us, as did Jamie. Jamie said he was overwhelmed by all the people that he knew that showed up.
Suzie, Diane and I were really scared to talk to Chris, but eventually I was like alright, if I don't introduce myself I'll feel retarded after. So we walked over, and I said I recognized him blah blah blah, and his brother goes "aw what's this, a myspace reunion?" and Chris decides to say "yaaa I didn't wanna be the creepy one that went up to you and said I knew you from myspace" so I suppose I'm the creepy one, but whatever, Myspace is awesome, and rules my life. He seemed like a good kid though, and just a fun kid to be around. Tonight was awesome, and I wish I could hop on a bus and go to another show, but I can't haha Maybe Chatanooga?
So now I'm sitting here, editting pictures which will be up most likely tomorrow, so I'll post them. If you read this, you deserve a cookie. :) I hate school more than anything in this world, and this week I failed to go one day, and have been to math once this week. Do you really think I'm going to write some essays and do other hw? uuhhh I don't think so. Ick....anyhow, ttyl hope y'all liked the review. ;)
