My friends were saying the disconnect for them was the fact I don't know these bands personally, therefore, why was I so devoted? Well, I wouldn't be if they were Joe-Blows at the next coffeehouse table, but through their music, and in other ways, I feel I do know alot about them and am certainly able to feel a bond with them as many other people do to any idol they admire.

It reminds me of why these people get excited about basket weaving. My point exactly!
