Right. Once again I have totally fallen behind in updating. I've been back in DK since the 8th, although I've spent most of that time with my family, & writing this bitch of an essay. I'm at 1827 words. I need to be between 2500-3000. It's due on Wednesday

One, I am glad to see you're still okay and well. How's the no-smoking thing going?

Two, I have a comic book with a Danish character who bids another character "gute nacht". Is this right? I was wondering if this is correct or if they were just using a Japanese>German translator.

thanks ^_^ it's going well, I'm nearly at three months! O_o I still miss them, though!

About the "gute nacht", that's not Danish as far as I know: if they were trying to say good night it would be "God Nat" (which is probably why they didn't use the Danish version, thinking about it! lol)

The essay is about Analyzing discourse- & this is the title: "With reference to (a) audio, or preferably, video recordings of naturally occuring English talk-in-interaction, and (b) associated transcript, critically evaluate the possibilities and limitations of the conversation analytic mentality" ... mouthful, huh? I've gotten the video recording, & made my own transcript... but my teacher is evil incarnate! He's made two girls cry, & ripped up someone's essay plan! For the first time in my life, I'm scared of BSing through a paper! T_T

How did the paper turn out? I encountered my first 2500 word essay this past April and thought I would never be able to do it, and then somehow I wrote more! But you're in your last year! Hope you finished it knowing that it was going to be one of the last essays you get to write EVER....although that motivation wears off pretty quickly I must say..
