It's more the principle of the thing. iPods themselves are perfectly nice, but I can't stand the sheep-herd mentality of iPod owners. I won't even use iTunes. I'm just stubborn (and broke) that way.
Yeah, I know on some level it's just my own stupidity. But hey, I'm entitled to a little bit of snobbishness, right?
If I had the money, I'd be rocking an iRiver Clix. But I don't, so I have a 1gig flash doohickey that my mom bought me.
Oh, and plus, I don't like white technology. If the iPod came in black or steel grey, I'd be much more tempted (yes, I know the nano comes in black, but like I said, broke).

I've got to argue with the IPODS though. I like those. What did they ever do to you!?!?

Broke is a good excuse. You remind me of my friend who wouldn't get a cell phone because he didn't want to be like everyone else.
But, his car broke down all the time and he kept getting stranded. Then, he got a phone.
I'm a new media follower.
I'm not sure if I should be proud of that or not.
