Wow- that's really and ridiculously close to you. I can't imagine what that must be like. Are you good though? I mean, planes and buildings aren't any New Yorker's favorite thing... but you're good right?

I'm good. The apartment is good and is still fully functional in preparation for your visit in a few weeks. Now if only all the media vans would go away and stop blocking my street, I'd be just peachy keen.

Wow, I know you said it was close to you, but that map really drives the point home. Did you ever manage to get to sleep? At least you're pretty close to the ground in your apartment.

Now I'm picturing the pig celebrating stopping off to have a beer, as opposed to the birthday happiness. Yay beer stop!
