My parents (of students) are stupid. And pissing me off. My emails are getting shorter, ruder and briefer. By June I might just be typing fuck off.

I need to get a grip on my grumpy.

I dream of being able to tell some of them to fuck off. Like the ones who write, "why did my son/daughter get a zero on that assignment?" And I just want to say, "because they didn't turn it in, you moron." or "why don't you ask your child, they probably know better than I do why they didn't do their work."

For the first time in my teaching career I was tempted to throttle a student yesterday. Like, seriously tempted.
