im sure you are acquainted with the unpleasant details of moving and those changes. as a city girl, i can tell you that it will take time to find your places - those outside places in parks and on rooftops and at cafes - that will provide solace. walk around. find used bookstores. read inside them. people watch. find those fake fire crackers that you throw on the ground and make that popping sound.
i hope you feel more at home soon. maybe you'll have to leave there for a vacation to discover that it feels like home.
annnne. i miss you. what are you doing next weekend? how about leaving the hot city and coming out to the hamptons? i'm going to be there, my brother is coming and bringing his friends, and we're having a crazy party!!!! we can go to the beach!!! and swimmmm!!!
