Someone pray for me. I'm performing with Rebekah Bavry during Music 100 today. My voice feels like crap. Mrs. Dobbs has been really working us hard during opera rehearsal. It could also be that I have allergies now. I have NEVER had allergies! Grr

I am praying for The Impresario, but I guess that's obvious, I kinda have a vested interest. Just finished praying for the MUS 100 performance. You'll do well, I love those pieces! Just explain to Prof. D that you are feeling some real fatigue. She probably thinks you are marking to save your voice. She is very understanding about voices needing a break. The only issue there is that it is production week so she might not be so understanding

    One of my very religious friends in high school told me to never wish him luck. He said that the word luck came from Lucifer and was somehow connected with evil. So instead of saying "good luck" I was supposed to say "bless you." If luck is false power from the devil then blessings are true power from God. ...or something like that. It has been a while.
    So I'm not going to wish you luck on your performance. I'll say may God bless you. I know you'll do a good job.
