"This is terribly painful, you know."

Slowly, silently, he turns his head to look at this new David.

"What? You expected me to walk around bodiless and headless the rest of my unlife? I should hope you'd know better."

He raises his eyebrows, gives 'Tash Grace a Look.

"And I must say, I quite like your new look, too."
