New patient who came in wanting a referral to surgery so he could get his appendix out. Completely normal and benign exam

I had a mother wanting an ex lap for her kid 'because she's always in such terrible abdominal pain.' Normal exam with a smiling child. She'd been to the ER several times to request surgery and it's always documented that the kid was smiling and in no pain. It bordered on Munchausen.

Crazy.
