Thank god, it was supposedly "hot" here. A balmy 90 with little humidity. A nice change from the 98 with 98% humidity in NJ. The trip to NJ was great, good food, seeing friends & family, and I had a great time & John & Cristi's reception. Although I didn't take one picture, but everyone else had a camera so I'll just mooch off of everyone else's

New York Rangers forward Sean Avery has been sent to hospital after lacerating his spleen during a playoff loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

My question is why the hell wasn't this an unsportsmanlike call in the first place. What Avery did has nothing to do with playing hockey and was pretty much childish. He wouldn't even been able to get a rebound shot... dope.

I know I may be a little biased, but how is the Gionta goal against the Pens only #6 on the SportsCenter top ten? I'm not saying #1, but there was a standard slam dunk at like #3.
