The store didn't mind all that much. The funny thing was, when I wheeled the cart I'd absconded with back into the store and up to the bottle redemption counter, the clerk asked me if I knew how many we had. I didn't, as we hadn't counted yet - she was ready to take me at my word how many bottles they owed us for, rather than actually have to count them!
